Our Silver Sluggers Skills Academy are clinics for our Silver Sluggers team players only, providing a high level of instruction in a small group setting. They are not required but an extra option for our players to improve their specific skills and fundamentals.
See below for further information on these clinics. Once credits are purchased, players must schedule the clinics that they will be attending. All players must add their name to the schedule by using the “SCHEDULE” function on the Upper Hand registration site. There is no need to schedule all credits at the time of purchase. You may schedule as you go, but all players must be scheduled for the specific day and time of the Skills Academy Clinic prior to attending.

Included in the Sluggers Team Player program is a membership to our new facility. Players are allowed to reserve a cage at our new facility to train on their own outside of clinics and practices. We currently have opened up a limited number of time slots on Upper Hand. See below for details –

If you have been to our facility in the last week or so, you have noticed our strength training equipment coming to life. We will be ready to start training our Silver Sluggers players starting the week of November 4. We are using our Upper Hand clinic credit system for our strength and speed training.

No team practices. Focus on strength training and other activities.
Off-Season Weekly Skills Clinics available to Sluggers players at a greatly reduced rate. Sluggers players can attend unlimited clinics for $175. Go to the link below for details and registration –
Velocity and Arm Care Program (online/zoom). We will start our Velo and Arm Care program for all players in December. This includes one online training session per week with 2 at home workouts per week for 5 weeks. More details (dates, and velocity training kit purchase options) to come in a separate email.
Winter Team Practice (Silver Sluggers Indoor Facility, Middleton). Weekly practices over weekends indoors until we can get outside.
Resume in season skills clinics – Up to 2 Weekday Skills Clinic per week included in team fee. Schedule for weekday skills clinics from Jan-March will be announced in the next few weeks. Weekly Schedule will change at the end of March once high school season starts, and then again in the summer when school ends.
It is proven that we will value what we consistently measure. Players of this generation are tuned into metrics and measurements more than any other generation in the past. Tracking and measuring the activities and habits that make you a more productive person will hold you more accountable to your daily goals.

* Goal for training is never record a zero (no zero policy). This means that even on your physical days off, players should read or view information on sports psychology or baseball/softball skills.
*At times Coaches will be randomly checking and holding our players accountable for keeping track of their productive activities during the winter.
Our Friday Fundamentals are a list of our foundational fundamentals for baseball and softball that will guide us through our winter training program. Each week, we will deliver a fundamental and description in advance of team practices to be used as a cheat sheet for a productive practice.
