15 – 17U Players & Families –

We are excited to announce that Silver Sluggers is partnering with QuestFit, a college recruiting and player evaluation platform designed to help athletes better understand where they currently stand and what they need to develop to reach the next level.

WHAT IS QUESTFIT?

QuestFit combines verified baseball statistics and performance metrics to create one overall evaluation score called a Q-Score.

The Q-Score gives players a measurable way to understand how they compare with other players in their age group and identify specific areas where they can continue to improve.

Rather than relying on generic training, QuestFit can help players answer:

  • Where do I currently stand?
  • What areas of my game need improvement?
  • What do I need to work on to reach the next level?

WHAT IS BEING TESTED?

Athletes will receive a comprehensive assessment featuring position-specific metrics and verified data that directly factor into generating their overall Q-Score.

  • Exit Velocity
  • 60-Yd Dash
  • Positional Throwing Velo
  • Pitching Velocity
  • Spin Rate

WHY DOES THIS MATTER FOR RECRUITING?

Athletes will receive a comprehensive assessment featuring position-specific metrics and verified data that directly factor into generating their overall Q-Score.

Today’s college recruiting process is becoming increasingly data-driven. College coaches want reliable, verified information when evaluating potential recruits.

QuestFit provides college coaches with access to a verified player database, along with standardized metrics and the Q-Score, giving them another tool to evaluate and compare athletes.

$225

We want our players to take advantage of this platform at no additional cost and gain a better understanding of where they currently stand and what they should continue developing — both with our coaches and on their own.

Velocity Development Program

Our goal is to increase each player’s pitching and hitting velocity by developing the athletic qualities that drive performance—strength, explosiveness, movement quality, and quick-twitch ability. Every player begins with an evaluation designed to identify their individual strengths, deficiencies, and athletic profile so training can be tailored to their specific needs.

5-Week Program

Evaluation results determine each athlete’s individualized training focus, with 3–6 personalized drills introduced each week targeting the upper half, lower half, and core.

Over the course of the 5-week program, athletes will be exposed to a minimum of 15 individualized drills, allowing their training to progressively address their specific deficiencies while continuing to develop the physical qualities needed to increase velocity.

Players train both during facility sessions and independently between lessons. Facility use outside of lessons is FREE during the 5-week session.

All results and video are documented through OnForm and Skillshark so progress can be measured and tracked throughout the program.
