Sluggers Fundamentals
Sluggers Weekly Training Log
Measurement is Motivation
It is proven that we will value what we consistently measure. Players of this generation are tuned into metrics and measurements more than any other generation in the past. Tracking and measuring the activities and habits that make you a more productive person will hold you more accountable to your daily goals.
Begin to track the activities that make you a better athlete and baseball/softball player. Through the Winter, we will create a habit of tracking our time spent:
- Baseball/Softball skills training
- Speed/strength training
- Sleep per night and...
- Water intake daily (ounces)
Directions
- Print or Download the Weekly Training Journal
- Record (Daily) your time spent practicing baseball softball skills, training for speed/strength, amount of sleep per night and water intake per day.
* Goal for training is never record a zero (no zero policy). This means that even on your physical days off, players should read or view information on sports psychology or baseball/softball skills.
*At times Coaches will be randomly checking and holding our players accountable for keeping track of their productive activities during the winter.
Sluggers Fundamentals
Our Friday Fundamentals are a list of our foundational fundamentals for baseball and softball that will guide us through our winter training program. Each week, we will deliver a fundamental and description in advance of team practices to be used as a cheat sheet for a productive practice.
