Game Day Plan: Our instructional league has a rather unique format to blend advanced instructional clinics with games so that our players can apply what they learn in our clinics/practice sessions in the games on the same day. We are very excited to offer this type of experiential learning process in our fall instructional league.

Here is a high level view of how our Sundays will look:

  • Hour 1: Instructional Clinic
  • Hour 2: Controlled Scrimmage (indoors) and Games to improve skills in competition

Our goal for this league is to provide our players 5 distinct instructional clinics on the various fundamentals of baseball and also enjoy the many benefits of competition on the field.

Sample of Instructional Clinic Schedule

  • Baseball Skills- Fielding Repetition Based Warm Up
  • Mechanics, Skills & Drills Clinic (Tentative Schedule)
  • Week 1: Throwing Mechanics
  • Week 2: Hitting Skills and Drills
  • Week 3: Fielding- Detailed Fielding Fundamentals
  • Week 4: Hitting Skills Part 2 and Run downs

LEAGUE MISSION AND GOALS

Our mission for this league is to create a learning environment for our players to:

  • Gain more knowledge of the game
  • Learn the mechanics and fundamentals to play better baseball
  • To enjoy the process of improvement
  • To have fun on the field competing against other players

This league is not your typical league where players show up, warm up, and play a game. Our goal is to take each player through a journey of skill building through creating good training habits, preparation, and the ability to learn and grow from mistakes on the field.

Our league prioritizes sportsmanship at all levels. We will not tolerate players, parents, fans, coaches, or umpires showing anything less than good sportsmanship. We created this league to set a good example for our young players in an instructional and competitive setting. We want to remind everyone that positive attitudes and respectful communication is required in this league.
